Our
History
Whole Shop, Inc. was created from the dreams of an aspiring 42-year-old man. Robert Clark with only eight years of formal education was forced to leave school to help provide for his family in the 8th grade. He had a series of jobs that taught him machining and die making skills. He also developed a strong character centered on dependability and honesty. In 1974 Bob decided to start his own little business drilling, tapping, and punching holes. He named it The Hole Shop. As the small business evolved into other areas of manufacturing the name was changed to Whole Shop, Inc.
With the passing of Robert Clark, Sr. in 1999 the business was turned over to his children, son Robert Clark, Jr. and daughter Mrs. Nancie (Clark) Scott. They took command easily since both had worked at the business their entire adult lives.
With the passing of Robert, Jr. in 2007 the company is now in the very capable hands Mrs. Nancie (Clark) Scott and though many things have changed over the years many have also stayed the same. We are still owned and operated by the same family and still have the same values. We are honest and we stand behind our promises. You will find Whole Shop employees to be knowledgeable, experienced and always friendly. It was Bob’s way; it will always be Whole Shop’s way.
